I just got an email about an event we should all try to attend. Why? Because I’ve heard the keynote speaker a few times now, and he is 🔥. I’m talking, of course, about our favorite Florida Congressman, Maxwell Frost.
Also, I love the group holding this fundraiser. So here’s the invite. You do NOT have to give money to attend.
SHAPING A NEW FLORIDA: YOUTH POWER
October 17, Tuesday, 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET
The youngest member of the 118th US Congress, Maxwell Frost is so much more than his youth. His 10 years of political activism and his BIPOC and bi-cultural heritage have shaped his vision for a new Florida and a pathway to a thriving democracy. Once a volunteer with Airlift’s partner group Dream Defenders, Congressman Frost will be joined by Nailah Summers-Polite, Co-executive Director and founding member of Dream Defenders. We will hear about the strategy these leaders have for the role of youth in creating a new political force in Florida.
