Hey, Team Florida!

Long time no talk, and I’m very sorry about that. I want to start giving more individualized attention to important states like Florida, but unfortunately I’m not the most plugged in to the FL Democratic organizing scene. So, consider this a call to action: send me any good Florida-based volunteering opportunities or political events you have! 

More specifically, if you could send them to my assistant that would be great- she’s helping me organize state level resources and will make sure relevant opportunities get included in newsletters. Her name is Una, and her email is una.blumberg@gmail.com. Thank you all so much! 

On to what I do have! Postcards to Swing States just launched a new, high priority campaign focused on competitive US House Districts and Florida. You won’t have any say over which addresses they send you so there’s no way to guarantee you’ll be writing to Floridians, but there’s certainly a lot of FL addresses. Order your postcards now and send them out between Oct 24 and Oct 29. SIGN UP HERE!

Also, take a look at the Florida Dems’ Voter Protection Site. They have volunteer opportunities, as well as county-by-county ballot info. Click here to signal your interest in being a voter protection volunteer - they’re in need of Voter Protection Assistance Hotline operators!
